Strategic Marketing Director

The position

The Strategic Marketing Director is responsible for developing, (strategically) planning and executing our B2C brand (Albelli) and marketing strategy, aimed at creating customer preference through ultimate customer satisfaction.

From our office in the centre of Amsterdam you will work together with 8 marketing colleagues. The team is responsible for expanding our B2C brand in Europe and the USA. 

You will be a member of Product Owner Team with CEO and Product Owners for Physcial products and our software.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Develop brand and marketing strategic plan that build on the core values of our new consumer brand Albelli and aim to create maximum customer happiness
• Execute this brand and marketing plan
• Develop personal skills of team members
• Sparring partner throughout the organisation

Candidate profile

• Bachelor or University degree
• 10+ years marketing experience as A-brand manager (in markets fmcg, telecom, retail, online media) with a proven record of success
• Strong international perspective and experience (5+ years outside the Netherlands)
• Proven passion for strategically building brands using a wide variety of brand aspects
• Understanding of virtual consumer interaction (communities) and able to apply this practically
• Marketing drive & passion, performance driven, hands-on attitude and flexible
• Excellent communicator, not afraid of challenges, dynamic and entrepreneurial
