Senior Director Wholesale, Retail & Marketing

Our client is the Dutch entity of a 200.000+ employees stock listed multinational, at the Dutch entity 1100+ dedicated employees are employed.

The position

The Senior Director Wholesale, Retail & Marketing is responsible for the development and implementation of a (digital) marketing strategy for the whole Dutch entity in a complex and diverse business. This includes (Brand) Marketing, the Internal and External Communication, Business Development, Formula Management, Franchise Management etc.

He/She will develop existing new concepts and initiate new concepts to service the market, gain market share and improve margins. Focus is on strengthening the company’s market-share and competitive position as well as on creating additional and new value for customers and partners.

He/She will be leading 16 direct reports and report into the CEO for the Netherlands as well as in matrix to a European VP.

Candidate profile

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant areas.
• At least 12 years of working experience of which more than 8 years’ experience in commercial and/or marketing leadership roles. Experience in managing a P&L of € 100 Mio+ would be a benefit.
• Experience in Health & Beauty, Healthcare, Pharma, or Food industry is a must.
• Experience in (e-)Marketing and Business Development is a must Franchise and Formula Management a significant plus.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.
