De functie 

The Regional Director is responsible for the development of the business in Asia, from the current (limited) basis to a leading business with revenues exceeding the company's profit standards in close conjunction with the Division CEO's.
Further build-up of the company through organic growth and acquisitions as agreed with Group management. Lead/ take part in group projects/initiatives/assignments in the respective countries and outside the region as agreed with the group from time to time. Optimize the local laboratory & analyses production processes, systems and equipment in order to meet the company's standards of profitability, customer satisfaction, quality and on-time delivery. Furthermore the Director optimizes business development, compliance with financial/administrative/legal procedures/rules and employee development in cooperation with the leaders of the subsidiaries/business units reporting to him/her.  
  
De eisen 

• MBA or equivalent, preferably in Sciences (food, chemistry, civil engineering, biology etc.) is desirable but not required.
• Additional Managerial / Financial education is desirable but not required.
• Approximately 10 years of experience, with at least 3 successful years fully P&L responsible.
• Strong operational experience with focus on production, re-engineering and cost management.
• Strong proven management/leadership skills.
• International work experience of at least 3 years, preferably in Asia.
• Fluent in English.
