The position

Vilomix plays a key role in the global animal nutrition market, with operations across 17 countries. As the Poultry Nutrition Director, you will drive the global strategy for poultry nutrition,  blending technical excellence with business acumen to unlock market potential. You will  collaborate with teams across the Vilomix Group to deliver impactful results.

In this pivotal role, you will define and execute the global poultry nutrition agenda, supporting Vilomix's international growth strategy. By leveraging local knowledge and capabilities, you'll build a scalable framework for long-term commercial success. You will operate at the intersection of nutrition science and business development, crafting innovative feed solutions that improve poultry performance, health, and sustainability.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Develop technical foundations for effective poultry nutrition product management aligned  with country-specific growth strategies
• Collaborate with local experts to create feed solutions that improve poultry growth, egg  production, feed efficiency, health, and sustainability
• Lead the formulation and optimization of Vilomix premix products and customer-specific  feed recipes
• Provide formulation support to complete feed businesses within the Danish Agro Group to  ensure cost-effective, optimal nutrition
• Deliver technical support to key poultry accounts in close cooperation with commercial  teams
• Analyze global market trends and align activities with industry developments and evolving  customer needs
• Design and implement structured training programs for product specialists across the  organization
• Collaborate with procurement and marketing to develop and promote competitive poultry nutrition solutions

You communicate with clarity and confidence at all levels and have the entrepreneurial mindset needed to identify and seize market opportunities.

Job requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Poultry Nutrition, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related  discipline
• At least 10 years of experience in poultry nutrition, with a focus on premix formulation, feed  additives, or applied animal nutrition
• Proven success in product development, customer interaction, and technical support
• Strong track record in leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Based in Europe (with headquarters located in Denmark)
• Willingness to travel internationally (around 30%)
