The position
As Managing Director you will lead and manage the Dutch organization by developing and executing effective sales strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and driving financial performance. The role is responsible for achieving sustainable growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements, thereby safeguarding the long-term success and continuity of the organization.
Candidate profile
- (Master’s) degree (University level) in a relevant field, such as Technical Commerce, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.
- Strong understanding of the national and international markets for medical technologies (medical imaging), including competitive dynamics and market trends.
- Proven knowledge of business management, strategic marketing, communication, and advanced sales methodologies.
- Solid product knowledge within the field of medical imaging and healthcare solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a commercial or technical environment, with demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver results in a complex, performance-driven setting.
- Approximately 50% of the role is performed outside the office, including client visits, industry events, and field operations. This also includes traveling abroad.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate business needs and customer requirements.
