The position

Your assignment is to make this ambition reality. You will be given plenty of entrepreneurial freedom and will guide the organisation through the strategic turnaround and transformation from operational excellence to customer intimacy.

Once the transition has ensured an even greater focus on the customer and on value creation. After further digitalisation has been set in motion. With an organisation that has a clear vision, where the people and operational success are key. One concrete goal: that this ambition will be realised by 2025!

Tasks & responsibilities

You hold ultimately responsibility for Staco Holding, which currently comprises 5 country subsidiaries. Together with the holding team and the sales and operations directors of the subsidiaries, you will give shape to the ‘Staco 2025’ strategic plan and the resulting international commercial ambition. “Create & Inspire” is the credo, with a strong focus on the commercial development of Staco. Part of that role is stimulating Staco's distinctive capacity by promoting the central themes of sustainability, innovation, digitalisation, HR and marketing. Through collaborative leadership, you have the ability to bring out the best in people and encourage them to take responsibility.

To guarantee the business strength in the future, your focus should be on keeping the organisation on course in its transformation from operational excellence to customer intimacy; with access to sufficient resources and investment budgets. Your tasks include developing a clear sales strategy, translating it into concrete objectives and staying in control of their implementation. You translate figures into pragmatic management, think in terms of margins and act as a driving force behind reaching the predefined revenue and profit targets.

Using a proactive and market-oriented customer approach, you create demand and turn that into product innovations. Your commercial character and passion have an inspirational effect on the entire organisation. You get satisfaction from coaching and motivating the international team in the change process. Thanks to your natural ability to connect people, you understand how to get internal and external stakeholders on board. Always in the interest of strategy and results.

You focus on cultural values and the financial result and hold on to the central themes with pre-established dashboards. You report directly to the management board of ROTO.

Candidate profile

  • Commercial leadership and experience with transformation processes
  • Core values: entrepreneurial, reliable, passionate and committed;
  • Authentic and passionate manager with flair, empathy, humour and assertiveness;
  • Proven track record in similar positions with achieving set commercial and operational targets;
  • Stimulates a 'can do' and 'get it done' mentality; driver of innovation;
  • Affinity with technology, experience with international project organisations;
  • Academic working and thinking level, excellent command of English and preferably also Dutch/German and/or Polish;
  • Experience in the metal industry or facade market is a plus.
