Director of Business Systems (Pharmaceutical)

The organization

For a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Belgium, we are looking for a Director of Business Systems.

The position

• You will be responsible for the strategic plans for business and IT strategy, monitor current and future IT capabilities and support all business systems dimensions
• You will be the technical owner of all projects and oversee both purpose and technological evolutions
• You wil own and manage IT financial budgets, track major IT investments en verify technical specifications

Candidate profile

• Master’s degree in computer science/engineering/or other relevant field
• More than eight years experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical environment and understanding of pharmaceutical drug development and commercialisation
• Deep knowledge of business IT systems, infrastructure and cloud systems
• Natural leadership skills
• Good communicator and critical thinker
• Ability to work under pressure
