A globally operating consulting company. In the process of expanding the international consulting practice we are looking in all locations (e.g. Germany, Switzerland, US, etc.) for:
 
Director IT Organisational Design / Change Management (m/f)
 
Your new challenge:
Manage the organizational assessments and the design of the new organizational structure and roles
Design and implement a new global and or regional IT organization as part of a business transformation
Apply proven solution framework to rapidly identify and calibrate IT / business requirements, design drivers and organization 'building blocks' to establish the IT capabilities needed
Recommend a organizational structure and develop job profiles, competencies, and roles and responsibilities to support the target end state / IT operating model
Analyze the various organization dimensions and determine the appropriate staffing level for the new IT organization
Establish and roll-out the new governance framework, management and decision-making protocols, and performance metrics
 
Transition Management - Manage the organization and human elements of IT transformation
Define a roadmap to accelerate the transformation to the target end state
Develop strategy and process to transition people to the target end state
Identify any interim steps to the target end state and map the flow of people to the new roles and locations
Develop a transition program / plan to support knowledge transfer between key individuals, including development of individual plans and vendors transfer agreements
Support the client through the management and execution of transition activities to the target state
Work with local HR, unions and work councils to evaluate and implement new roles and processes
Map progress against the achievement of the business case
 
Additional responsibilities in the following SAP Change Management service offering areas - Help clients to manage and execute medium to large scale change programs related to the implementation of SAP system and / or process changes within diverse organizations
Change leadership - Bringing proven change architectures and best practices to help clients navigate change
Deliver business benefits - Guiding clients to achieve sustainable performance improvements within their organizations from the change programs
Build commitment - Enabling clients to proactively engage the stakeholders, build support and energize the change through effective communication
Enable people - Mapping employees to the appropriate roles, building skills and knowledge in people and ensure that they have the appropriate skills / knowledge to perform their jobs in the new application system / processes
Align organization - Re-aligning the organization, its people, and their actions with critical business imperatives and specific objectives
Ensure readiness -  Helping clients to tailor change management interventions to make them more effective by evaluating and monitoring the readiness of people to accept and sustain the changes associated with the new application system / processes
 
Your Profile:
Prior external consulting experience and experience in IT organization design including SAP Competence Centre design and implementation
Proven track record in designing and implementing IT transformation / large scale change management interventions with demonstrable client improvement
Demonstrated project management and leadership of complex projects and problems delivering business services and values
Minimum of 8 years experience performing transition / change management work in the disciplines of change management methodology, job / role / organization design, stakeholder engagement, leadership and people alignment, communication, training,  organizational readiness, or transition
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Commitment, creativity and ability to work independently as well as in a team
Fluent in English and German - a convincing and efficient communication style
Travel is required, particularly in Europe.
