Deputy Managing Director

Description

Our client is one of Europe’s largest organisations in the food services sector. They have activities in the following countries, amongst others: the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden. In 2010 a majority interest was taken by a venture capital organisation. The company has made more then 10 acquisitions the last six months and is expected to grow significantly over the next 2 or 3 years. In the Netherlands the company has a market leading position with annual sales over € 150m.

Functional specification

In the larger customer area, through a stronger national accounts structure and marketing focus, our client wants to strengthen its activity in the Netherlands. We seek a new senior executive to become deputy managing director to support the development of the business. The new senior executive will have significant exposure both to the Group Chief Executive and to the majority shareholders.

Profile

You have an entrepreneurial profile and are prepared to invest in a real commitment. Local independence is important to maintain. You can work in close cooperation with the investment partner. Anticipating future consequences and trends accurately, will go together with being good in establishing clear directions and staying cool under pressure. You can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups in which you can be both direct and forceful as well as diplomatic.

Salary indication
 
€ 150k - € 170k, plus bonus.
