Our client ELCG (European LifeCare Group) is a leading provider of preventive healthcare services across Northern Europe. In the Netherlands, they operate vaccination and medical service centers, working closely with government bodies, GGDs, and other healthcare partners to improve public health access and outcomes.

The position

Kennedy Executive Benelux is looking for an entrepreneurial Country Manager in the Netherlands to shape the future of the Dutch presence of our client European LifeCare Group (ELCG), a European healthcare provider specializing in preventive care and public health services. Someone with a sharp commercial mindset, strong leadership instincts, and the intrinsic drive for real impact.

Tasks & responsibilities

As Country Manager, you will be responsible for executing the business strategy and driving performance in the Netherlands, in close collaboration with the Group CEO and shareholders. Leading a skilled local team, you’ll translate strategic goals into concrete results and support the growth of essential healthcare services. You will oversee day-to-day operations, align local HR and finance with group-wide processes, structure the team effectively, and prepare national campaigns, ensuring the right number of locations and nursing staff are in place to meet targets.

What you’ll do

• Execute the company’s short- and long-term strategy, aligned with the Group CEO and shareholder
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as government agencies, GGDs, and (potential) partners
• Initiate sustainable business growth and development initiatives
• P&L responsibility
• Budget management, monthly financial reporting and monitoring of KPI’s
• Performance and development follow up of management team in collaboration with Group HR
• Implement and facilitate meeting framework in management team including following up on action points to drive growth
• Work with CMO and marketing manager for accelerated growth
• Conduct follow up meetings with CEO and with full local management team
• Oversee financial performance and ensure financial health of the company

Candidate profile

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in leading a business or business unit, preferably in healthcare, services, or another high-impact sector
• Strong commercial acumen: budget ownership, growth strategy, and hands-on delivery
• Leadership experience: you know how to build a team, lead change, and create momentum
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational execution
• A collaborative mindset and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders (internal and external)
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
