The position

As Country Leader Delivery for the Netherlands you will be an integral part of the Leadership team. You will manage an internal team (75+ fte) as well as external partners to ensure that service delivery activities are prioritized and delivered above customer expectation. You will become recognized across the organisation as a key stakeholder in the Leadership team, working directly alongside the Country Leaders as you oversee the front-line service teams. You will further develop and implement the new portfolio based on your previous knowledge of best practice delivery support which effectively delivers an impeccable service to clients.

This role has a solid reporting line to the Country Managing Director and the Delivery Director Northern Western Europe.

Candidate profile

The Country Leader Delivery needs to have high market knowledge of the IT Services sector and broad knowledge about competitive market dynamics, business models, business strategies and processes. You need to possess strong leadership and decision-making skills. Solid leadership experience in Delivery / Service management positions is mandatory although you are allowed to make a significant step in your career as long you carry the potential to develop, mentor and motivate a high caliber team.

The ideal candidate is an excellent stakeholder manager, a real team player. Outgoing, positive, energetic and with a customer-obsessed focus. With developed people management skills, an emphatic attitude and a likable personality you enable yourself as a leading role model for employees and managers.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of related experience in computer customer support industry;
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the deployment of delivery and consulting IT services;
  • Proven track record in successfully implementing new processes, tools and technology to dramatically improve a delivery department;
  • Solid experience with leading a large teams, ideally experience with the management of managers;
  • Experience communicating results across all levels of the organization. Demonstrate knowledge of corporate organization, culture and policies, cross functional roles and objectives;
  • Typically first level and advanced level university degree;
  • Excellent English and Dutch.
