Chief Technology Officer (Telecom/Cable)

The organisation

Our client is an international internet services provider with Dutch headquarters in the Amsterdam area.

The position

Expected result areas for the CTO are:

• Responsible for the Product Management and Product Engineering
• Well-engineered services and products
• Responsible for defining the Technology Roadmap
• Providing leadership to System Administration
• Providing Product Management and Product Engineering

The CTO will operate in a result-driven work environment, with a can do mentality. It's an open culture, but also a hands on culture; managing by walking around is key. 

Direct reports to the CTO are the Manager Product Engineering and the Product Managers.

The CTO reports to the CEO.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a result driven, charismatic and customer orientated personality. He/she has high sense of Integrity and is a sharp Business Acumen. ISP and Hosting experience is a must!

The ideal candidate has a background in the hosting industry, an academic level (WO) and excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus). Required years of experience in this industry: 5 until 10 years; years of experience in a similar position: 7 until 10 years.

You possess the Ability to create and implement a vision and have experience in bringing new products to market. We are looking for a real people person with proven Leadership skills and an Entrepreneurial spirit.
