International leading organisation, active in 29 countries with over 7000 employees. Top player in the testing industry. Clientele includes all large international companies in food-, pharma- and environmental-branch.

The Position

The Business Line Director leads a group of laboratories providing testing services to the Food industry and retailers. Has P&L responsibility for a business line comprising of several countries (from 3 up to 15). Reports to the Group Executive Committee on a regular basis and as often as requested. Recruits, promotes or develops talented leaders in the various countries for the organisation. Leads and supports the development of the individual performance of the BU managers of his/her Business Line. Develops together with the business unit managers, a short and long term strategy. Leads the decision-making process on large investments such as acquisitions. Has overall responsibility for Quality of the company's services and compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.

The Requirements

• MBA or equivalent is desirable. Additional Master or PhD in Sciences (chemistry, pharmacy, food science etc.) would be appreciated.
• Approximately 10 years of experience, with at least 3 successful years fully P&L responsible and proven financial success, preferably in the business services sector.
• Strong operational experience with focus on production, re-engineering and cost management.
• Strong proven management/leadership skills.
• International work experience of at least 3 years.
• Fluent in English is mandatory, knowledge of any other language is preferable.
• High energy individual with a strong drive and a passion to win.

Remuneration

Excellent remuneration package. Salary range: € 150k - € 300k
