The organisation

Proprium Capital Partners is a global private equity investor specializing in real estate. The firm was founded in 2012 by two Managing Partners who previously served as Managing Directors within Morgan Stanley's real estate division. Proprium currently manages approximately $4 billion in assets and focuses on taking minority stakes in private real estate companies in high-growth economies.
 
Its investment strategy focuses on platform investments in residential, student housing, hospitality and logistics, among others, with the goal of achieving returns comparable to traditional private equity investments.
 
In 2025, Legal & General Group (L&G) acquired a 75% majority stake in Proprium. L&G is one of the UK's largest financial institutions with more than £1.1 trillion in assets under management. Through this strategic partnership, Proprium benefits from economies of scale and access to L&G's global distribution network, while continuing to operate independently while maintaining strategy, leadership and investment approach.

The position

At Proprium Capital Partners, as Vice President Finance & Capital Markets you will have the opportunity to make direct impact within a compact and international team. Based in Amsterdam, you will work on the financial core of the platform and contribute to the management and further growth of the organization.
 
As VP you are responsible for fund modeling, cash flow management, FX hedging and reporting to investors and management. You will work closely with the global CFO/COO and play a key role in structuring funding, establishing scalable processes and developing robust reporting structures.
 
The position comes at a strategic time: Legal & General Group (L&G), one of the UK's largest financial institutions, recently acquired a 75% stake in Proprium. This partnership marks the beginning of a new growth phase and opens the door to larger funds, international expansion and further institutionalization. As VP, you will be jointly responsible for laying the financial foundation to realize those ambitions.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models for liquidity, leverage, FX hedging and P&L;
• Manage distribution structures, management fees and fund-level cash flows;
• Support capital structuring, ISDA documentation and treasury processes;
• Prepare financial reports for investors, management and regulators;
• Collaborate on fundraising and marketing materials, such as pitchbooks and capital call packages;
• Coordinating with fund controllers and auditors for financial statements and NAV reports;
• Lead improvement projects focused on scalability, efficiency and data quality.

Candidate profile

• A completed masters degree, preferably supplemented by an RA, CPA or CFA qualification;
• At least seven years of experience in audit, corporate finance, M&A or private equity, preferably within the Big Four;
• Strong financial, analytical and modeling skills and an affinity for fund structures;
• A proactive, structured and independent working style with a high sense of responsibility;
• Excellent command of the English language;
• International experience or exposure to real estate is a plus.

The offer

• Annual salary of €110.000 to €130.000 (including holiday allowance) based on 40 hours;
• Performance-based bonus structure;
