Sales Managers Europe And USA – Solar

Unique entrepreneurial positions with major international listed solar industry players.

For two of our clients, well recognized state-of-the-art photovoltaic module manufacturers and commercializers, we are looking for experienced renewable energy professionals for the position of Sales Manager:

  • Europe 
  • Central Europe
  • Eastern Europe
  • Eastern USA

The main tasks will be to develop and manage the local sales office and further grow all commercial activities in the assigned region.

Location

Open to all locations; Home Office.

The responsibilities and deliverables

  • Sales Manager for key accounts; 
  • Meet and exceed sales and profit targets within assigned region;
  • Manage and develop the sales of PV-module systems; 
  • Develop channels and create strong relationships within them;
  • Supporting, after-sales, consulting and training of customers; 
  • Maintaining and developing existing business relations as well as new customer acquisition;
  • Follow up with payment and cash collection on a monthly bases;
  • Close cooperation with the Back Office for documents including LC, Shipments etc;
  • Develop and organize sales-related processes and activities, which include networking, meetings and special sales events;

The requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Sales Manager in renewable energy related industries;
  • Bachelor or Master Degree (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration);
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, a good command of another foreign language will be considered as a plus. For one of the roles, German is a must; 
  • Outstanding and proven network within the renewable energy industry, including dealers and system integrators;
  • Experience in customer-side project management and training; 
  • Experience with initiating, negotiating and closing of contracts with key accounts;
  • Positions require frequent travel within the assigned region;
  • Well developed communication and presentation skills;
  • Self confident and the ability to be(come) an authority in the market;
  • Result driven, success-oriented sales personality with can do mentality;
  • Ability to engage counterparts and colleagues but also a team player at the same time; 
  • Self starter, disciplined and hands on mentality;
