The position

In this challenging position as Sales Manager Europe, your primary goal is to maintain and further develop Wyma Solutions’ position in the DACH and Benelux region. You will realize sustainable growth on an international level by expanding the pool of customers while at the same time maintaining existing relationships.

You will furthermore lead your team of sales professionals to achieve the same level of growth within other European regions. Your vast strategic sales and management experience combined with your commercial drive will lead you and your team to success. Tasks & responsibilities

As a highly experienced international Sales Manager you are responsible for the sales activities and business development of Wyma Solutions in the DACH and Benelux region, primarily the Netherlands and Germany.

This challenging role combines a hands-on sales aspect as well as a management aspect. You will focus strongly on realizing commercial growth in the previously mentioned regions by actively approaching customers and creating new business opportunities.

Your technical know-how and experience with consultative selling will provide you with the necessary tools to successfully achieve this goal. You are also responsible for the European sales team, consisting of three sales professionals in other areas. Together you will reach new heights in the European market.

Your eagerness and capability to quickly adapt to different situations and types of clients, combined with your international commerce experience and sales drive, will provide you with the necessary set of tools to succeed in this exciting position.

Furthermore, your hands-on and engaging leadership style stimulates your team of international sales professionals towards durable growth. To achieve the strategic sales and business development goals, you will partly focus on existing clients while also creating new business.

You will lead and manage the complete sales cycle from A to Z. Together with your sales team you will establish the further growth of Wyma Solutions’ market share and maintain the company’s position as the leading brand in bulk handling of vegetables. 

Approximately 40% of your time will be spent abroad visiting (potential) European customers and your sales team. When not on the road, you will primarily work out of a home office. Your direct reporting line will be to the Commercial Manager.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in a relevant study (business administration, engineering)
  • Multiple years of relevant international working experience in sectors where large deals for capital goods were always part of the game, senior and experienced, business acumen, strategic builder towards the final order
  • Perfect leadership and strong technical sales skills to lead a team of professionals
  • Strong analytical and excellent communication skills, negotiator by nature
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 40%) and to work in an international field
  • Strong teamplayer with the ability to work independently as well
  • Common sense, resolute approach, good sense of humor
  • Perfect knowledge of the English, Dutch and German language
  • Familiar with solution selling in an agricultural environment is a plus
  • Preferably experienced in sales methodologies such as; Sales Process Management, Consultative Selling & CRM
