In the early stages of online payment, the number of fraud cases was significantly higher than it is now. People also paid money to the wrong person or company much more easily. But since these people are around, fraud and misdirected payments were being reduced by huge percentages. How they do it? By delivering software that checks if the IBAN and name of the account are corresponding. And it’s booming.

Expanding the brand, and building from the market they are already in, that’s what they do now. Now they own the Dutch market, and they’re worldwide recognized as a company that makes transferring money safer. And the platform has to deliver and be up at all times in order to keep its reputation high. Safety and trust that you help to deliver.

The position

You are the Sales Manager Banks that will guide the teams to be successful in connecting new banks to the platform and monitoring the products for existing bank customers. The Sales Manager Banks is responsible for every discipline: from Product and (IT) Implementation to Business Development. This is a new function in a hugely growing business, where they have to split into two sectors: corporates and banks.

With your experience, you can. Because you’ve been in the business long enough to know what to do. The payments landscape is familiar to you and selling and implementing complex technical products is nothing new. If you’ve been working within a bank in payments, you’ve got absolutely nothing to worry about, but in this leading and challenging role, you have a good chance with multiple relevant types of experience.
