The position

Hoynck has a compact management structure with two managing directors and a management team. As Sales Director, you will lead a team of sales consultants who maintain daily contact with international clients. The sales team works closely with the project management and marketing departments. Hoynck designs stands in collaboration with external designers and works with selected stand builders for execution. The team culture is professional, driven, and client-focused. Tasks & responsibilities

As Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and enabling the sales team to excel. Together with the board and external partners, you will work on a future-proof commercial structure.

Your role includes:

  • Further developing and implementing a clear and scalable sales strategy;
  • Daily management and coaching of sales consultants (with focus on quality and results);
  • Improving processes, structure, and collaboration within the commercial chain;
  • Acting as a direct contact for existing and new clients at executive level;
  • Ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and project management;
  • Translating client needs into compelling propositions in collaboration with (external) designers and partners;
  • Shaping the commercial strategy in both the short and long term;
  • You will report directly to the Managing Director of Sales, Marketing & Project Management and be part of the management team. 

Candidate profile

We are looking for a strong commercial professional who can motivate people, oversee processes, and knows how to create value for both client and organization.

You bring:

  • A higher professional (HBO+) or academic (WO) level of thinking and working;
  • Extensive experience as a Commercial Manager or commercial leader in a B2B environment, preferably in trade fairs, brand activations, or project-based services;
  • A coaching leadership style and a feel for team development;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and sharp communication in client conversations;
  • Strategic thinking with operational decisiveness;
  • Customer focus, quality awareness, and negotiation skills;
  • Fluent command of Dutch and English. Proficiency in German sufficient for business conversations and writing texts.

The offer

  • Attractive gross annual salary between €100,000 and €130,000, depending on knowledge and experience;
