The company

The company is a worldwide provider of application-infrastructure software for the development, implementation, integration and control of solutions for business applications.

The Sales Account Manager will sell and generate new business for Service Oriented Architectures, SOA Governance, Event Driven Architectures and Business Activity Will monitor while maintaining existing revenue. The ideal candidate is an over-achiever, is driven by success, possesses a hunter mentality and has what it takes to build trusting relationships with Tier 1 enterprise customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new opportunities in the market and work closely with pre-sales to exploit opportunities and make them happen.
  • Drive sales activities to meet and exceed sales call, lead conversion and revenue objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Lead a team-centric approach to sales qualification and revenue closure, working closely with systems engineering and consulting personnel in a complex, enterprise sales environment.
  • Coordinating pipeline and sales forecasting activities with sales management.
  • Spread the company`s vision, concepts and technological solutions in the market.
  • Gather relevant information and visualize the market and competition related to the company and it`s solutions.
  • Participate in the exchange of ideas about business development for the EMEA business. 
  • Maintain and promote customer satisfaction to ensure 100% customer reference ability.

Job Requirements:

  • Multiple years of experience in business to business software solution sales, selling into large accounts.
  • A proven track record in high value sales and will be able to demonstrate experience in successful selling and high level negotiation, the ability to manage a long and complex sales cycle, including the effective use of pre-sales support.
  • The individual should have an appreciation of the business drivers in a number of verticals (such as Financial Services, Government, Retail, Telco, and Transportation) and how these are driving investment in software.
  • Ability to work at varying customer levels with a view to identifying and uncovering multiple business opportunities through sound business relationships at both top and departmental levels.
  • Technical acumen with ability to present and sell technology products in a business context.
  • Strong team player combined with a pro-active approach, highly motivated, willing to travel nationally and abroad, and able to work with a minimal level of supervision.
  • Self-motivated/sufficient and highly driven to succeed with a proactive attitude to work and life.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – highly enthusiastic, great presentation and communication skills.

Remuneration:

€ 140.000 OTE
