The position

In order to support the future growth of the Final Dosage business, our client is looking for a New Business Director Final Dosage to gear up the in-licensing business for Final Dosage dossiers, help boost sales and manage the P&L together with the other senior members of the Final Dosage business. Managing Licensing and Sales, the position will be based in the Netherlands.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Identification and development of opportunities to in-license dossiers in the generic pharmaceutical industry across the globe
  • Manage all aspects of the sales of dossier licenses to Pharmaceutical companies, from client identification to closing of contract agreements
  • Lead and support the sales/ licensing organization in negotiations to out-license Final Dosage generic dossiers to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Manage the Licensing and Sales organization for Final Dosage products
  • Develop the product strategy for in- & out-licensing of Final Dosage products in Europe and worldwide
  • Investigate the market, anticipate its development

Candidate profile

  • Master’s degree, preferably in pharmacy, economics or a related field. Additional MBA or PhD is strongly valued
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of working experience in In- & Out-licensing of product dossiers and with marketing authorizations for Final Dosage products in the pharmaceutical industry, having spent the majority in the generic pharmaceutical sector
  • Experience managing a (small) team dispersed over various locations
  • Background in managing revenues of at least € 50 million
  • Experience in project/program management as well as in business development
  • Established international network of excellent contacts in the generic pharmaceutical industry and with other relevant players in Europe and across the globe
  • Strong sales/ business development track record
  • Experienced building a vision and in developing and executing strategies
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages is considered a plus
  • Willing to travel internationally
