The position

We are looking for an ambitious and result driven sales professional for the most unique coffee concept that exists.

Tasks & responsibilities

This role is a great combination between growing new businesses, remain existing clients and managing a team of account managers. You are the pivot between Sales, Production, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance departments where you work together on convincing proposals that help our clients become successful. We are looking for someone who is determined to make a difference by focusing on improving the P&L. To make an impact on the strategy you will be part of the Management Team.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Manages & coaches a team of International Account Managers.
  • Develops a long-term sales strategy to promote client retention and achieve growth.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting the Account Managers with maintaining relationship and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Ensures sales team is adequately trained and capable of meeting requirements in terms of product knowledge, technology, as well as marketing and sales aspects, including pricing management and forecasting/budgeting activities.
  • Recommends and enforces product pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and client behaviors and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Directs international sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Market mapping and identify new business but also grow existing clients and make sure the quality is in place.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitor the quality of product / services towards clients and adjust where needed.

Candidate profile

  • Demonstrate results where you developed and motivate teams.
  • Has a proven track record in developing win-win solutions for both existing and potential clients.
  • Has a customer service oriented mindset and actively work to enhance the quality of service.
  • Has a good understanding of supply chain management, negotiation skills and CRM systems.
  • Has experience selling into global markets.
  • Is analytical and financial strong.
  • You don't fit into one box, you have guts, think differently and dare to be different.
  • Has a passion and obsession for achieving results in collaboration with others and like to celebrate these successes together.
  • Can switch effortlessly between different cultures and feel free to be yourself and adapt if necessary.
  • Has a strong affinity with the coffee industry and all coffee related products.
  • Has a bachelor or university degree and at least 5 years of managerial work experience in an international role.
  • Speaks the Dutch and English language at a professional. German language is an advantage
  • The role is located in Rotterdam with hybrid working.
