The organisation

Nobel recruitment are thrilled to be engaged with arguably the world’s fastest growing communication SaaS business to help secure their next SMB Sales Manager for the UK&I region to join the Amsterdam team.  

The position

Most importantly for us when recruiting for an SMB Manager is someone with the right energy, competitive spirit, personal drive and track record of success. This position involves working with small and medium business clients (employee count of 250 or less) managing a team of 9.

Tasks & responsibilities

So, what will you be expected to do?

  • Effectively lead a team of account executives and help them identify opportunities, qualify leads and close deals.
  • Create client demos/ presentations, quotes/ proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Lead high level conversations with C-level executives
  • Develop and maintain business within existing accounts, manage complex sales situations and sales campaigns
  • Strategically leverage existing business relationships to help the team grow
  • Accurately use Salesforce to analyse and track sales performances
  • Proactively learn and understand new product lines as well as industry news to best service your clients
  • Drive team growth through effective and strategic hiring by working cross-functionally with the recruitment team, as well as work to educate and promote direct reports.

Candidate profile

  • 2+ years’ experience managing a team is essential
  • Knowledge of the UK and Ireland territories
  • Direct SaaS/ Cloud selling experience SaaS video or web conferencing solutions selling experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration and relational skills
  • Business forecasting, pipeline development and management skills are required
  • A proven track record of closed sales, client satisfaction, & team work
  • Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, & self-motivated
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • Strong Internet research skills with excellent PC literacy [Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint], BA/ BS or equivalent experience
