The organisation

Our client operates at the intersection of industrial technology and data infrastructure. Modern industrial environments depend on a wide range of systems, from sensors and video feeds to automation platforms and asset monitoring tools. In many organisations, these systems function independently, which makes it difficult to gain timely, unified insight when it matters most.

The platform developed by our client addresses this challenge by connecting machines, data sources, and people into a single operational environment. It enables real-time visibility across remote and distributed assets such as offshore installations, vessels, renewable energy sites, and other complex industrial operations.

By unifying previously disconnected systems, the platform allows industrial teams to shift from reactive responses to proactive decision-making at scale. This is not a single-purpose tool, but a foundational layer that enables organisations to make full use of their operational data.

The position

Our client is entering a growth phase focused on expanding adoption of their platform across industries with remote or distributed infrastructure.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will take ownership of how the solution is positioned, sold, and expanded within key industries operating in sectors such as offshore, maritime, energy, and large-scale industrial environments.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through closing
  • Develop strategic account plans for priority sectors and regions
  • Identify high-impact use cases across data, AI, video, and operational systems
  • Build business cases that demonstrate measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to support implementation
  • Engage multiple stakeholders across operational, technical, and compliance functions
  • Drive account growth after initial deployment
  • Provide customer feedback to internal teams to inform product direction

Candidate profile

  • Demonstrated success selling complex solutions to large organisations (Enterprise)
  • Comfortable navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Able to communicate technical concepts in clear business terms
  • Strong planning mindset with an account-based approach
  • High level of ownership and follow-through
  • Experience building influence across diverse enterprise stakeholders

Preferred Experience (Not a must)

  • Exposure to maritime, offshore, renewable, or industrial sectors
  • Background in platform or edge-to-cloud solutions
  • Familiarity with operational technology, sensors, or industrial data
  • Understanding of analytics, AI, or automation concepts
