The position

As they expand across Europe, we are seeking a Head of Sales based in the Netherlands to lead their commercial strategy, grow enterprise client base, and scale a high-performing sales team.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and coach a dynamic sales team focused on acquiring and developing enterprise accounts in the Netherlands.
  • Define and execute a local go-to-market strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Set performance targets, implement sales processes, and monitor KPIs to ensure sustained team success.
  • Personally lead high-impact client negotiations and manage complex sales cycles to secure key strategic deals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product, and sourcing teams to improve our offering and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the organisation at local industry events, panels, and roundtables to raise brand visibility and stay connected to market trends.
  • Act as a trusted partner to our enterprise clients, advising them on workforce trends and the strategic use of freelance talent.

Candidate profile

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing complex sales pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of the Dutch enterprise landscape and ability to open doors at senior levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a data-driven approach and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
