The position

The Business Development Manager Retail Market is responsible for acquiring named customers from the Go To Universe List, Total Contract Value and Revenue commitments based on quarterly targets and functions as a Business Advisor to clients. In this position, you will work closely with Geo Sales, Presales and Bid Teams, COE and ISU Teams and Horizontal Service Delivery Organizations like IS, BPO, EIS, GCP.

You will report to Geography New Business Development.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Analyze target prospects in the TCS GTU list and take ownership of specific prospects
  • Develop a strategy to position TCS capabilities, identifying differentiators to win against competition 
  • Provide thought leadership and customer insights to win proposals
  • Collaborate with existing and identify new partners for solution needs
  • Network to create and manage relationships with clients
  • Enable development of differentiators by providing inputs to CoE and Growth Engine on industry trend and customer needs
  • Continuously learn and keep oneself updated on industry trends and use of technology
  • Acquire New customers in Netherlands
  • Achieve Total Contract value Targets
  • Engage and build relationship at Business Head/CXO level
  • Position and synergize TCS capabilities with customer roadmap
  • Generate demand for new business
  • Take TCS assets - solution frameworks, offerings to market
  • Influence creation of new assets through customer/market intelligence

Candidate profile

Education

  • Degree in Engineering and/or Business Management
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.

Experience

  • IT/ITeS Services sales experience with Onsite/offshore service delivery
  • Prior sales experience (with newer customers) in positioning and winning large deals with Dutch Leading companies   
  • Experience in planning sales strategy, shaping and forming contract and it should bid processes
  • Total Sales/Business development Experience over 15 years
  • Experience of working in Global delivery model (preferred)

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to network and acquire new clients
  • Understanding of Dutch ICT market; specific knowledge of outsourcing/off shoring
  • Ability to  collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent Presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical background
  • Industry: Retail & CPG
