The Client Business Developer is part of the sales team and develops, expands and generates new business opportunities on targeted new logos. The Business Developer provides demonstrable success by closing deals with satisfied customers. Further, the Business Developer creates a new business plan to approach a number of defined prospects and has the responsibility for carrying out this plan. The Business Developer will report directly to the Market Growth Area or Global Sub Market Head.
Tasks & responsibilities
As a Client Business Developer, you have a crucial role in the growth expectations of the organisation. You are engaged and will create a trusted relationship with the customer. Further, you should not be afraid to try new approaches and take responsibility for your actions. In addition, you know exactly how you should manage large sales opportunities and you know to maximize your experience in a complex, consultative selling environment.
- Build strong relationships at all levels of the client organization
- Relevant network on C-level in the energy and/or utilities sector
- Market analytical skills, and a strong industry knowledge
- Able to build good relationship and communicate transparent
- Good at innovative thinking as well as disruptive thinking
- Good negotiation skills
- Leadership, consulting background and agility
- Able to drive customer needs and develop an insight selling view
- Proven success in generating new business with new logos
- 10+ years of relevant experience in an international IT-services organization
- University or Bachelor degree, preferably Business Administration or Business Economics
- Fluent in Dutch and English
