The position

The purpose of the role is to develop, communicate and implement a premium brand marketing strategy and to support and justify Sandvik premium positioning of the Parts and Services offerings and to lead the development of a commercial competence strategy for a Parts and Services Sales Management and Training Program for commercial aftermarket sales roles (direct and indirect). In this position you will report to the Vice President Parts and Services Commercial. 

This challenging and diverse role will see you play a pivotal role in defining the Global Parts and Services marketing strategy, to develop strong value propositions and to define and implement an annual Parts and Services marketing plan. You will support managers and stakeholders across the business in providing product marketing content, leading product launches and campaigns, organizing events and exhibitions and enhancing our utilization and effectiveness of online advertising tools ensuring all activities and content are consistent with our branding and positioning. 

A key aspect of the role is the development of our sales teams across the organization which you will do through the design and delivery of programs and curriculum to develop sales and commercial capability and you will lead key initiatives to ensure that our regional areas adopt and execute the recommended training and development plans. Where the need arises to utilize external suppliers to assist in the delivery, you will select, manage and develop these relationships to ensure they align to business objectives and expectations. 

Candidate profile

In addition to a commercial or business degree, you will have a marketing and communications qualification and ideally a certificate/qualification as a Trainer or Facilitator. As a seasoned marketing leader, you will be minimum 5+ years experienced in utilizing a mix of traditional marketing methods and social media and have undergone media and social network communication training. Naturally you will have product marketing experience, ideally in an industrial environment, well developed connections with marketing and PR agencies and demonstrated experience in event and exhibition management. You are well versed in sales and commercial training development and delivery and you have led the design and implementation of competence development and training programs across key areas of a business. 

On top of the above, you develop a marketing plan and are able to create a vision and build a long-term strategy for HR, product launches, competence/e-learning and more for the unit Mining and Rock. You have experience with creating value for products and services of the company and translate this in projects.

You have highly developed interpersonal skills, are self-motivated, manage your time and priorities effectively and have a well-developed ability to lead and drive process change.
