Procurement Manager MarCom

The position

You will be responsible for the development, monitoring and maintaining of the Procurement network within T-Mobile Netherlands and Deutsche Telekom AG (DTAG) for the cluster Indirect/Marketing. Therefore you’re acting as Business Partner for the Marketing Department on leadership level.

You will report to the Director Procurement.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsible for structural development and profitability of T-Mobile Netherlands by:

• Managing a team of 5 SR Sourcing Managers
• Optimizing of processes
• Execute a “make or buy” analyses
• Optimizing the competitive advantage of our external suppliers markets
   
• A strategic view on procuerement within MARCOM: focus on a consistent suppliers strategy, in which future markets and new technologies are considered
• Functional and managerial responsibility for the employees and result areas within the procurement cluster Indirect-Marketing
• Act as Business partner to the Marketing Department: discuss, advice and decide with the relevant Leadership Team member  the strategy, budget, roadmap, optimizing of processes, etc.
• Local/international monitoring of strategic suppliers management
• Minimize procurement risk, such as dependence of suppliers
• Implementing, checking and coordinating of supplier management and commodity targets within the entire cluster as part of the planning process
• Present and evaluate the competitor’s position with regards to the market and execute benchmarks for the main (“key”) suppliers
• Develop en implement cluster strategies to gain a competitive advantage
• Advise and manage the sourcing managers within the area of attention of supplier’s management by monitoring, analyzing, benchmarking and improving of the procurement measures
• Focus on clear results by using critical performance indicators (KPI’s), reporting of the cost saves and project performance

Candidate profile

• Bachelor / University degree (preferably in business administration, technique and/or finance)
• 5-10 years relevant experience within a procurement role is a requirement (A minimum of 5 years proven leadership)
• Your proven sourcing knowledge and skills result in a broad portfolio of diverse (?) commodities and even various companies. This knowledge and skills implicate a sound understanding of “Supply Chain” Management, outsourcing and modular sourcing
• Experience with complex contracts included all relevant juridical, tax related and financial aspects
• As a Manager/leader you are able to pursue in a way where you are able to translate your vision unambiguous and bring and create a change
