The position

This is an incredible opportunity to work on a highly engaging and emotional brand with a multi-location responsibility. Based in Madrid, Spain, you will be part of the team responsible for delivering an exciting and innovative strategy across Western Europe for this amazing brand and, specifically, lead the Communication agenda, from London to Athens, from Madrid to Stockholm.

Based in Madrid, Spain, you will be part of the team responsible for delivering an exciting and innovative strategy across Western Europe for this amazing brand and, specifically, lead the Communication agenda, from London to Athens, from Madrid to Stockholm.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Drives pace and agility through instinctively making the right marketing judgement decisions
    • Instinctively knows when and where to intervene nurturing great ideas and stopping bad ones
    • Inspires and coaches others to understand what works for the consumer and shopper
  • Drives value commercially for the company and their customers 
    • Has a deep understanding of the total ‘business system’ and all the levers of value creation and margin enhancement. Actively tracks these in the organisation
    • Develops effective strategies to make the company an indispensable business partner to our customers

Candidate profile

  • Degree or MBA qualification in relevant discipline. ( Business / Commerce / Marketing)
  • Minimum of 8 years marketing experience in a functional marketing role in FMCG
  • International experience in marketing
  • Strong experience in Brand Communication, Building and Defining Bands and Developing a new Brand Strategy    
  • Excellent level of English required and medium-high level of Spanish desired

Terms & conditions

The salary indication for this position is € 110.000 OTE. The candidate is expected to travel up to 20% of the time across key countries in Western Europe relative to team, brand and customer activity.
