Rousselot is recognized as the global market leader in producing and sales of gelatins and collagen peptides. Headquartered in Son with a staff of 2.500 people spread out over 13 plants and 10 sales offices, it ensures worldwide presence in 4 continents and close proximity to its customers. Rousselot continuously seeks new product innovations and ways to develop markets. To maintain the market leadership position, we are looking for a result driven Director Sales & Marketing EMEA.

The position

In this position you will be responsible for the commercial results in the EMEA region. You will be leading the sales offices in various countries (9 persons). You develop in a systematic way the expansion of new business at existing or new clients. In the execution of your Regional commercial plan, the optimization of the product portfolio, professionalization of account management and supply chain will have your attention. You will establish a satisfactory customer base and conduct high level volume contract negotiations concerning the key European clients. Hierarchically you will report to the Regional Director EMEA and functionally to the Global Sales & Marketing Director.

Candidate profile

Your profile will feature a higher professional or academic technology level in agro, food, pharmaceutical, chemistry or nutritional science. Broad knowledge of business processes or an MBA education. A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience and proven track record in international sales and marketing is required with (natural) ingredients. A sales authority and natural leader with a clear market view based on an understanding of the quality and value needs in very different industry markets. Pragmatic, sharp in analysis, energetic, dealmaker, you walk the talk. You must be fluent in English. Positioned at the office in Son and prepared to travel in EMEA for approximately 25-30% of the time.
