Program Manager Global ERP

The organisation

Our client is a global retail company that will start the international roll-out of one instance of a new global ERP System at the end of summer. 

The position

For our client we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Project Manager with a background in retail and managing international ERP roll-outs.

Tasks & Responsibiltiies

• Confirm project scope and generate detailed work estimate using standardised estimation techniques and past experience
• Schedule the work within the time, budget and quality constraints
• Determine resource needs, plan project financials, develop management plans as needed
• Document assumptions and risks
• Develop management plans as needed (issues, risk, quality, configuration, resource, communication, knowledge, security, …)
• Obtain stakeholder agreement and maintain stakeholder involvement during the project
• Ensure effective performance management, gathering metrics that reflect the true performance of the project and analyzing data where needed for insight in possible issues in project delivery
• Monitor and control critical project dependencies preventing these dependencies from become issues to the overall project
• Responsible for the delivery of the project according to time, quality and budget constraints in line with sponsor's expectations and the Project Initiation Document
• Manage resources, suppliers during the project; Manage and monitor the delivery of business results and change
• Ensure proper project closure and handover to Operations
• Functional management of the ERP Team, Business Team Leads, system Integrators in the individual project organisations
• Facilitate team performance, create a positive team environment
• Challenge and motivate employees against individual and group performance objectives
• Coaching on the job

Candidate profile

• At least eight years of experience in Project Management, managing complex projects with a budget of over 1 mln.
• Over five years of experience in SAP implementation Projects
• Experience with Retail or Consumer (fashion) Products
• Used to international travel and working with different cultures
• Result oriented, driven
• Positive attitude, keen to meet deadlines and promises
• Excellent convincing skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
