They’re looking for a talented IT Manager (Financial Services or Insurance) to join their Amsterdam team!

Tasks & responsibilities

As an IT Strategy Manager, you’ll:

• Lead and deliver large-scale digital transformation projects for top-tier clients
• Shape IT strategies and architecture roadmaps tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to solve critical tech challenges
• Combine hands-on delivery with strategic advisory
• Work with cutting-edge technologies like Cloud, AI, and modern enterprise platforms
• Mentor and guide diverse teams across complex engagements
• Make a real impact across industries like insurance, banking, and beyond.

Candidate profile

What We’re Looking For:

• University degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, engineering, or business administration.
• 10–15 years of experience in tech strategy, IT consulting, or IT project management.
• You will have relevant experience from a top consulting firm (focused on technology, digital initiatives) and have led the design and management of IT implementation and strategy projects.
• Experience in the Insurance or finance industries, with strong technical expertise in banking or insurance platforms.
• Strong experience with Cloud & Data, and legacy system modernisation.
• Able to present different architecture models to clients, develop MVP architecture and IT landscape modernisation roadmaps.
• Deep expertise with modern toolsets in Agile environments, legacy modernisation and modern approaches to technology.
• Know-how to drive operational and client service excellence, presenting project results to C-Level.
• Ability to translate tech solutions into business value for senior stakeholders
• A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
