Interim Information Security Expert

The position

An Interim Information Security Expert responsible for strategy, policy, and compliance in information security, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. Drives implementation of frameworks like CIS Controls and GDPR, oversees audits, advises leadership, and coordinates incident response. Works cross-functionally with IT, DPO, and external partners to strengthen security posture and staff awareness.

Candidate profile

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or C|CISO
• Experience with Dutch regulations like BIO, NIS2, and international norms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Availability for immediate full-time deployment (3-6 months) with flexibility for international operation
