The position 

As Head of IT Cloud Services, you are accountable for the development and deliverables of the Cloud Central COE in maintaining and growing relationships with customers, expanding and managing the portfolio of cloud services ensuring the timely delivery and dependable operation of cloud services to the business. 

The Cloud Central Team is a cross-functional team which governs, delivers and operates the Cloud Services to support ITS Global’s strategy around the adoption of cloud services as a strategic enabler for business agility. The Cloud Central Team provides a platform for supporting business users at their development, adoption and optimization of the use of cloud services in a secure and cost effective manor, like IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services of Microsoft Azure and other related resources.

Tasks & responsibilities

You will be accountable for the Cloud Central team leadership, establishing a global cloud organization, creating a vision and objectives, setting priorities and strategic/tactical direction and goals aligned for the organization. You will be responsible for a team of total 9 FTEs with responsibility of a gross spend of USD $10 mln. Besides, you will be responsible for resource capacity through outsourcing partners and development of statements of work to ensure that work is delivered on time, with the right quality. 

You are leading the creation, development and delivery of multi-year, multi-million dollar projects to further extend and improve the services. You are responsible for the definition and agreement of requirements for third-party services required for the delivery and smooth operation of Cloud Central services ensuring all statements of work align with the stated requirements. 

As Head of IT Cloud Services, you are accountable for partnering with other ITS Global groups to deliver a reliable and scalable infrastructure, plus identifying actions necessary to improve performance, quality, functionality and availability. In your new role, you drive team skills development and coach peers and team members, facilitate knowledge transfer within the Cloud Central group in order to create a sustainable organization. Last, you promote and guard global standards, standard infrastructure services and solutions.

Candidate profile

You have a master degree in a Business Related Discipline. You have 8+ Years of hands-on and leadership experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-vendor environment in a multi-discipline team across countries with sound knowledge in building effective working relationships. 

You have core advisory and leadership skills including ITIL, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, SLAs and KPIs, cost of service and Risk and Security. Moreover, you have experience with Lean/Six Sigma Process improvement methodologies and you are in possession of a Project management, PMP or Prince 2 certificate or equivalent.

You have a strong understanding of technology architecture in an enterprise environment and relevant cloud knowledge on conceptual and business value level. You are confident in dealing with staff, managers and partners across the firm, and are able to speak and present to senior business people in the firm.

You can act as a role model in coaching and mentoring peers and team members, facilitate knowledge transfer within ITS Global and strategically develop team members skills and career roadmaps. Furthermore, you are able to demonstrate thought leadership and to analyze complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities.

You are able to persuade and resolve conflicts when strong opposition exists, building on credibility, skill, personal presence and earned trust. Last, you have excellent communication skills in English, verbally and written to all levels of the organization.
