The position

TCS Netherlands is one of the fastest growing entities in continental Europe and is a dynamic region with tremendous growth prospects. At present there are more than 3000 employees based out of Netherlands and this is expected to grow in the coming years. The HR Manager will have an opportunity to own and lead end to end HR process for the region including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Talent Engagement and help in Brand Building for TCS in the local market.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Build local brand in the market and Universities to make TCS an employer of choice.
  • Create and drive GoIT & STEM initiatives for the country.
  • Responsible for driving CSR, D&I and special initiatives in Organizational Development
  • Build an all-inclusive Team and ‘One TCS’ Team Culture
  • Establish a strong and sustainable relationship with external stakeholders eg government bodies, education institutions etc to drive people centric initiatives.
  • To facilitate effective deployment of end to end HR processes and ensuring compliance in alignment with the business objectives of the country.
  • Support the development of HR policies / procedures in line with country-specific imperatives
  • Identify, and deploy OD Interventions and developmental learning programs
  • Support compliance to all employment and immigration related laws of the country
  • Pro-active identification of HR issues and providing timely resolutions
  • Organizing regular Associate Engagement initiatives
  • Engaging with the workforce through mentoring and employee connect programs
  • Onboard & Integrate Locals through proper mechanisms
  • Deploy TCS performance management process for the country
  • Work towards improving the intrinsic quality of Performance Management / Talent Acquisition / Compensation Management & Talent Management systems
  • Support Talent assessment / Career Management & Succession Planning
  • Understand and educate employees about compensation processes and handle queries related to the area.
  • Extensive experience with Works Council.
  • Preferable experience in offshore-onsite distributed operating model in an ICT organization.

Candidate profile

  • The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience and have handled multiple roles within the HR space including, Talent Engagement, Talent Acquisition & Talent Development.
  • Excellent Communication skills and ability to communicate and engage effectively with Business and Leadership.
  • Experience with handling works council matters. Experience with Unions is nice to have.
  • Experience in culture building, employee integration and change management
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Ability to learn and handle in house systems and processes
  • Innovative and be able to think out of the box
  • Target oriented and ability to achieve goals within defined timelines
  • Must be native Dutch and fluent in communicating in English
