The organisation

A leading high-tech service provider. For our client, a leading high-tech service provider, we are looking for a strategic ánd operational Director HR with a hands-on attitude and extensive experience at top technological companies.

The position

The Director HR will be responsible for the strategic leadership of all aspects of HR management and serve as a thought leader and visionary in advancing organizational capabilities and effectiveness. She/he will provide direction and lead organization and talent development efforts to meet strategic and annual business objectives.

The Director HR will report to the CEO and will serve as senior advisor and counsel to the leadership team on all aspects of human resources. She/he will assist in the planning and development of the appropriate organizational alignment and structures, architecture and support systems to enhance the organisation's ongoing growth opportunities and objectives. You will manage a small team to develop HR strategies, policies and programs and also ensure their successful execution. 

The challenge for the Director HR is to be strategic, tactical and operational at the same time. He or she will be in charge of everything that concerns HR.This is a role for professionals who can diagnose problems, identify appropriate solutions and roll-up their sleeve to dive into operational details in all domains of human resources.

The Director HR will: 

  • Partner with the MT and leadership team to lead the Human Resources team’s efforts to drive organization capability, performance and sustainable long-term growth;
  • Develop HR programs and identify key HR metrics to analyze and solve business problems that impact organizational effectiveness (improve productivity, reduce cost, increase retention/engagement and increase profitability);
  • Champion and drive a culture that embraces innovation, continuous improvement and change, ensuring the pursuit of organizational excellence;
  • Stay abreast of regulatory and political changes as well as shifting market dynamics; serve as general advisor concerning business and workforce implications; effectively manage risk;
  • Manage key HR KPI’s/metrics (talent acquisition, engagement, development, retention, etc.);
  • Drive a talent acquisition and management strategy that integrates a succession-planning methodology for key contributor and management positions. Facilitate the talent review process and create plans to develop and deploy key talent and address succession gaps;
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive total rewards strategy to ensure talent attraction and retention while managing costs;
  • Develop and lead programs pertaining to associate development and leadership;
  • Manage a team of HR professionals providing day-today support and strategic guidance for the team;
  • Lead the internal communications strategy for the company;
  • Work together with worldwide partners that are also part of the international group;
  • Champion the organisation’s values and culture; continue the company’s ability to attract, engage, and retain a high-performance team that can lead growth.
