The organisation

Our client is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry with its' headquarters in the US.

The position

We are looking for an Associate Director, HR Business Partner for Netherlands. The role will support the Regional Business Unit of c.100 employees, providing strategic HR partnering to enable an accelerated growth agenda. The role is also responsible for delivering a one country Netherlands approach to people and culture, across multiple matrixed business units for c 300 employees. You will report to the Senior Director HR – North Europe, and the General Manager Netherlands. The role provides strong and engaging leadership, expertise, advice, HR business partnering support and works seamlessly with other HR functions to support overall joined-up HR delivery. They will be a proactive member of the Netherlands leadership team, and effectively support business management teams to drive business delivery and results. This role will also be part of the North Europe HR Leadership team in which you be working within international HR projects. You will also lead a small team of HR professionals.

It's a full time position with a hybrid way of working.

Candidate profile

  • Prior experience of leading HR in Netherlands, across a matrix organisation, with sound knowledge and experience of local employment legislation
  • Strong commercial understanding, focused on adding value to the business • Ability to effectively set and execute overall strategic direction
  • Curious, flexible, able to work in a face-paced, matrixed environment,
  • Excellent problem-solving, judgement and decision-making skills in complex situations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels, drive change and work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to use insightful data to inform decisions • Prior experience of acquisitions (due diligence through integration) preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Fluent Dutch language skills (oral and written).

Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent combined with experience as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist operating with management teams; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The offer

The company offers a really good salary based on 40 hours and competitive benefits (bonus, mobility budget of € 1100,-- per month, gross and 28 annual leave days.
