Senior Controller - Head of Finance Europe

Our client is an internationally recognized real estate fund in commercial real estate.

The position

As a Senior Controller - Head of Finance you are responsible for setting up and managing the finance operations for the European portfolio. 

Tasks & responsibilities

Main responsibilities: 

• Financial Control & accounting. 
• Financial & management reporting. 
• Business planning & variance analysis. 
• Budgeting & forecasting. 
• Financial advising & internal controls. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and legislative requirements. 
• Group audit reporting & local statutory reporting. 

Candidate profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field. 
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the real estate sector. . 
• Working knowledge of local GAAPs and IFRS. 
• Working knowledge of the Dutch / European taxation systems scheme and tax regulations. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. 
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and communicate effectively to prepare and explain financial data to board members, senior managers, team members and internal/ external auditors.
