Internal Audit (Senior Manager Level)

For our client, one of the largest companies of its kind globally, we are seeking for Internal Auditors on manager and senior manager level regarding various locations. We are looking for candidates who want to go beyond their horizon and get exposed to all business aspects of its company.

Our client offers job opportunities to join several of their audit teams in North & South America, Asia and Europe. 

The team - Corporate Finance Audit ("CFA") - we are recruiting for is a diverse multinational group of highly skilled and result-oriented professionals, located in numerous offices around the world. Their professionals provide extensive knowledge and experience in areas ranging from financial management and accounting to business operations, regulatory requirements, information technology as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for executing CFA Engagements as directed by the Engagement Managers and delivering with high quality within the prescribed timelines and budgets, following CFA methodologies, policies and procedures
• Assists team members, as required, to contribute to the overall success of the team
• Support the concept of Integrated Audits and can work in a coordinated approach together with the Directors, Managers and Auditors of the other CFA Audit practices and ensure that the Audit Engagement findings have been appropriately considered for the respective Audit practice

Education & Competences:

• BA or BS degree, preferably MBA
• Respective professional qualifications (e.g. RA /CPA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent, achieved or in progress)
• Minimum of 4 years of auditing experience (preferably "Big Four") and also (must) minimum of 2 years experience  within a multinational blue chip (Fortune 500) organization
• Proven track record  in preferably related industries regarding Manufacturing or Infrastructure or within a large, complex global organization
• Combination of current financial and accounting best practice skills, including experience in auditing financial statements and management reporting information in conjunction with field management experience
• Strong audit-engagement and project management expertise
• Excellent experience and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, Standards from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
• Willingness to high level of international travel
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and the language of the location of the Satellite office 

Additional Specific Expertise:

• Furthermore  managers or senior managers who join CFA should bring basic theoretical and practical experience in a couple of the below mentioned areas and an interest to further develop this expertise:
• Revenue recognition for complicated multiple element arrangements, complex long term construction contracts and software
• Accounting for derivatives and hedge accounting (including embedded derivatives)
• Impairment of goodwill
• Pension and other post retirement benefits
• Discontinued operations
• Accounting for complex leasing transactions (including sale and lease back)
• Tax accounting and transfer pricing

Salary conditions:

100k+ (depending on seniority)
