Interim Treasury Projects Manager

The organisation

Our client is an international organisation operating between corporate and financial institutions, having characteristics of both. Treasury plays a central strategic role in liquidity management, banking infrastructure, and financial risk optimisation across the group. Company culture is highly goal oriented, assertive, professional and very ambitious. 

The position

Right hand of group treasurer, write and implement a treasury build-up plan, Amsterdam (on-site), indication €100-€150/hr, 12 months. Expertise in corporate treasury, financial services and transition management.

Tasks & responsibilities

As Interim Treasury Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting and coordinating the TMS implementation next to dedicated projectleader
• Managing internal and external stakeholders (Treasury, Finance, IT, vendors)
• Supporting and driving the global bank RFP process
• Coordinating onboarding of the selected global banking partner
• Designing and implementing in-house banking structures
• Setting up and optimising global cash pooling structures
• Improving cash flow forecasting processes
• Contributing to the development of investment structures
• Acting as sparring partner to the Group Treasurer

Candidate profile

You are a highly experienced Treasury professional with a strong background in financial services or banking. You bring extensive experience in complex treasury transformation programmes and are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational level. You have a proven track record in Treasury project management, banking transformation and preferably TMS implementations. You are not afraid to work hands-on and engage in detail when needed, while also being able to define direction and structure complex projects. You are experienced in international environments (e.g. US, UK, Netherlands, APAC) and fluent in English. You are a senior profile with strong leadership presence and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.

The offer

The assignment is expected to start on short notice and can run up to 12–18 months. The rate is still under discussion and will depend on experience and seniority. Our assumption is that the candidate fee will be between €100 and €150 per hour but we are open to find out if our client is open for more senior candidates.
