The organisation

Our client is a growing international player within the machinery manufacturing industry. Their machines are mostly used for food production. Besides their manufacturing activities, they also offer maintenance, spare parts delivery and related services. They are a growing group of independent companies (3 in the Netherlands and 2 in Asia), who have - as part of an international listed company - a reputable name in the food processing and marine industry, with an outstanding quality of products and services. No-nonsense and informal working environment with space for personal development and growth. For their office Hilversum, they’re looking for an Integration Manager to lead a large integration project, as well as to act as CFO for the daily operation of the Hilversum unit.

The position

Your role will be split up into key tasks: Integration Manager and CFO:

  • Integration Manager: You will be acting as a project manager, leading the integration of 3 different independent private labels under the mother organization. This integration will in the first instance focus on an IT and HR integration.
  • CFO: Besides the tasks described above, you will also oversee all finance activities of the brand in Hilversum and act as CFO for this part of the business.

You will have a direct report (AP Specialist) and you will report directly to the Group CFO, with a dotted line to the Operational Manager, as well as all relevant stakeholders in the corporate headquarters and externally. You will have a standalone position, with a small finance team of the AP Specialist. The role is for 40 hours a week, 32 hours is possible. They work with Exact and they report under IFRS. You will have the opportunity to travel to the other plants in the Netherlands and in Germany.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain reporting tasks to the corporate group
  • Manage and coordinate integration projects
  • Implement, monitor and improve business processes, meeting corporate standards
  • Participate in future M&A projects and post-merger integration
  • Handling of daily tasks in exchange to corporate office
  • Support local GM’s with the optimization of operational internal processes

Candidate profile

An ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and has a broad experience in a smaller organization, dealing with the full scope of a hands on accounting / finance role. You are experienced in program and/or project management, implementation and improvements. You preferably have experience with M&A and PMI. You have a structured way of thinking and are good planning and organizing skills. You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and a sound problem solving attitude. You have strong communication skills; demonstrated to network with a large variety of stakeholders (among others senior management). You have a hands-on attitude and "getting things done" mentality. You are a team player with great flexibility to engage. You are proactive, informal and independent personality with a drive for improvements and process optimizations. You are flexible and entrepreneurial and are get energy from bringing structure. The ideal candidate then is looking for a role where he/she can be a project manager to lead a large scale integration. You are fluent in English and Dutch andhold Dutch citizenship.

The offer

Our client offers a competitive salary package. You will have a discretionary bonus of 10%, a company car, you will be part the ‘Cao kleinmetaal’ offering i.a. a pension, 25 holiday days and 13 extra days (in case of a 40 hours contract).
