The position

Following the increased size and complexity of the organization the time has come to appoint a CFO to take the finance function to the next level and lay a solid foundation for the next stages of development for HoSt group. Tasks & responsibilities

• Driving organic growth possibly supplemented by M&A.
• Lead the finance function, including business control, accounting, financial reporting and project financing raising.
• Act as a counter veiling power to the CEO and business partner to senior management by challenging constructively and proactively providing valuable insights.
• Help improve overall effectiveness. Reduce organizational complexity. Facilitate exponential growth.
• Develop group-wide financial and operational KPI’s to drive the business and improve forecasting.
• Foster drive data driven decision making throughout the company both in terms of tools and behavior.
• Manage project financing and other fund-raising activities for own to operate asset business unit.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is an all-round financial leader with entrepreneurial drive who is at home in a down-to-earth technical environment. Someone who is analytically strong, sees the bigger picture and is both able and willing to switch between long term strategy and operational details. The desired CFO connects easily at all levels and across cultures. She or he thrives in an ever- changing environment and continuously seizes opportunities to increase efficiency and save costs within the company.

• University degree in business economics or finance, preferably an RA or RC education.
• Experience in sizeable project business (300+ mln turnover) and complex manufacturing companies.
• Accustomed to an international work field including the US.
• Successful track record in increasing company effectiveness.
• Strong understanding of ESG principles and their integration into financial strategy and decision-making.
• Some experience with M&A transactions and integration processes.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
