The organisation provides software solutions in the fashion, retail and consumer goods market. The solutions specialize in demand and supply chain. Further to software license, the organisation includes the required implementation services as well as consultancy, which is often useful to get the best value out of the solution. To its customers, the organisation transfers the best practices and the knowledge of the most up-to-date working methods and workflows, gained over the years by working side by side with its customers. The organisation offers software based on Microsoft technology and is a certified Microsoft Gold Partner. They operate in a dynamic market.
The organisation is now one year active in the Netherlands and still growing. They cooperate with other members of the organisation in the UK, Germany and Italy.  
  
De functie 

Because of growth and expanding markets, the organisation is looking for a Senior (Pre-)sales Consultant. The Senior (Pre-)sales Consultant is responsible for the identification of client needs and demonstrates the fit and value of the products set. Another responsibility is resolving challenges and ensuring the client understands the value that the products can bring. It will be expected to support customer and contact profiling. The Senior (Pre-)sales Consultant will be responsible for the development of solutions proposals from a product level and this includes discovery sessions, first and second stage demonstration and if required managing proof of concepts.  
  
De eisen 

The organisation is looking for a seasoned candidate with proven experience in retail and consumer goods sales campaigns to the top and mid tier retailers. The candidate must enjoy working as part of a small and growing local team with the opportunity to shape how the organisation develops. This would mean a degree of flexibility.

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree Supply Chain Management/Business Administration
  • 5+years experience in retail sales campaigns to top and mid tier retailers
  • Experienced in Service Delivery
  • Experienced in demonstrating and configuring software solutions
  • Expected to manage "Proof of Concepts"
  • Experience of configuration of cube based reporting tools would be an advantage
  • Experience in Consumer goods planning will be considered an additional advantage
  • Ideally the candidate will have experience with selling the planning tools of JDA, SAP, Oracle, SAS, i2, Manugistics, Cognos, Compass or similar mid-tier solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal
