The position

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team with account executives which are responsible for the acquisition of new customers, retaining of existing customers within all verticals to make sure bookings and revenue targets will be achieved.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain new business and outstanding quote pipeline from the account executives
  • Forecast planning, management and control of the target achievement
  • Contact person for management level for the clients
  • Cooperation with business sectors
  • Attainment of the annual growth targets
  • Pursue and close contracts with new customers, responsible for the complete sales process, from prospect initiation, answer to RFP and formal quotations
  • Proactive and customer focused management and maintenance of existing client accounts assigned to the account executives
  • Have regular contact with all Benelux customers to provide support, answer queries and grow the business
  • Arrange meetings with Manager Support and Operations to ensure deadlines will be achieved
  • Prospecting for new business, exploring and qualifying new markets
  • Provide support to and liaise with other Sales staff, Marketing, Finance and Operations Departments
  • Attending external exhibitions, trade and roadshows and customer events
  • Assisting in the implementation of the company’s standardized quality processes and procedures, using company’s standard tools
  • Ensure compliance to all security policies in all areas and that all security procedures in accordance with the information security are strictly adhered to escalating any issues as required

Candidate profile

  • Experience in selling high value technical products and services to large enterprises
  • HBO+ education
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Natural leader who can built strong teams and who can inspire employees and customers
  • Confident and professional appearance
