Worldwide, there are increasing numbers of people with (morbid) obesity and comorbidities such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. To help these people lose significant weight and improve quality of life, surgeons are performing more surgeries every year. After surgery, it is often difficult to ingest and absorb sufficient vitamins and minerals. FitForMe fills this gap with products specifically tailored to patients’ needs, depending on the type of surgery they’ve had.

FitForMe’s success is based on a combination of a growth market, product development based on scientific research, and cooperation with the best production partners in Europe, America, and Australia. FitForMe works with various networks of reliable logistics partners, advisors in the field of local regulations as well as 120 driven employees in fourteen countries spread over all continents – including a customer service team of dieticians. The company is young, diverse and entrepreneurial, with an informal atmosphere where there’s plenty of room to inspire and learn from each other.

The position

Tasks & responsibilities

FitForMe is in the middle of a profound wave of professionalization, in order to positively impact the quality of life of far more people world wide. Growth markets identified for the upcoming years include Australia, France, and Germany. Shifting to a health & lifestyle brand with more digital and subscription-based offerings, is another key strategic goal.

A new brand accompanied by a strategic vision for building, loading, and development of the brand are important pieces of the puzzle. The Head of Brand will bring the knowledge and experience to lead a complete rebranding. They will also have the autonomy to have a serious impact on the success of the developing brand.

The complexity and the challenge lie in understanding the role of HCPs and their impact on consumer’s trust and preferences – while simultaneously finding brand, content, proposition, and activation strategies to help Fit For Me reach their next level of growth.

The Team
The Head of Brand will be part of the commercial management team, reporting directly to the CCO. They will lead and build a team of junior content marketers and a Product marketer, while collaborating closely with the Heads of Sales, Digital, Customer Support and Customer Growth. This is a role in a dynamic, fast-moving scale-up which is hierarchically very flat, backed by equity with the possibility to participate, and poised for massive growth. Given that context, this could be a very interesting opportunity for a Head of Brand to shape things according to their own vision while really making their mark.

The Head of Brand will be tasked with mapping the entire customer journey from awareness and activation, to customer experience. They will also be responsible for the development of more digital and/or subscription-based value propositions, in close collaboration with the Head of Digital.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a lot of understanding of B2C brand and marketing, to seriously impact the strategic positioning, marketing strategy, and growth of a purpose-driven healthcare scale-up.
