Currently there are 6 different hubs: Urban, City, Trekking, Heavy Duty, Extreme, and Extreme Gearbox. All enabling stepless and effortless shifting, whilst offering a maintenance free, near silent and greater gear ratio change biking experience.

This innovative brand originates from Austin, Texas, USA and has a service center in Zwolle, The Netherlands. In 2017, they opened their new headquarters in Amsterdam with a new name and increased focus on the European market.Thanks to the increasing popularity of e-bikes and e-cargo bikes, the company has experienced a steady demand for their stepless shifting hubs and transmissions. Enviolo was acquired by private equity firm Inflexion in 2022 and sees potential to grow their business even further by diversifying their product portfolio and exploring further M&A opportunities.

The position

Enviolo produces a smart range of stepless shifting hubs used in premium e-bikes. This innovative company islooking for an FP&A Manager to become an expert in this fast-growing market: someone that can strategically manage all business analyses and identify opportunities to increase enviolo’s revenue streams while maintaining profitability.

Tasks & responsibilities

Enviolo is on an important journey of refreshing their business strategy, focused on diversifying their product portfolio and expanding professional partnerships while maintaining profitability. The FP&A Manager will play a key role in achieving these ambitious business goals by identifying and stimulating strategic growth initiatives and managing the company’s overall financial health.

They will be responsible for the management of all planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities. This includes building and maintaining detailed financial models and forecasts and predicting the impact of potential decisions on cash flow and profitability. Working together with sales and accounting, they will also provide accurate sales reporting, P&Ls, financial nalysis and advice to leadership and shareholders.

The FP&A Manager is analytical and strategic. Utilizing insights gained through reporting and forecasting, they will not only assess and monitor the company’s overall financial health and investments but also identify and pursue new revenue opportunities. They will immerse themselves in the field to become a market expert, attending strategic events and visiting clients and sales partners to develop strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of how enviolo products and services can be improved and expanded. In close collaboration with sales, they will develop strategies to maintain steady market share in the niche sector of premium e-bikes, as well as expanding the product portfolio and pursuing M&A opportunities, enabling the brand to serve a broader range of customers and increase revenue streams.

The FP&A Manager will report to the CFO and be a main point of contact for shareholders, continuously assessing and monitoring the company’s overall financial health and investments. They will handle various shareholder requests and actively participate in monthly board meetings, tracking business performance and aligning corporate strategy with day-to-day execution.
