COO / CFO

A high tech company in hardware and software for the automotive, maritime and work equipment sector.

The position

Our client has a high ambition and is looking forward to onboard a COO/CFO who will drive this ambition. The team is rapidly growing and they are looking for an experienced leader to take on the crucial role of building world-class scalable processes and accelerate future growth within existing and prospective markets. The operations team is the backbone of the business and ensure and maintain a standard of delivery excellence.

To be able to grow fast they are open for buy and build, next to organic growth.

This means that a strong and durable foundation must be formed in the Operations and Finance. The new COO/CFO has a background in both. Logistics and supply chain play a major part in Operations. Finance is in good hands with a finance manager; however M&A knowledge and experience, negotiating with banks, international law and general finance knowledge is desired.

This person will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, overseeing multiple key functions in the business, and driving both top and bottom line growth. This person is a highly strategic thinker, capable of quickly assessing scenarios and translating strategy into action plans. He/she must be a strong leader who is able to inspire their team to take action without being prescriptive.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate for this job is a robust, seasoned COO/CFO with a high level of energy, drive and resilience. He/she is a real entrepreneur with substantial tech knowledge and possesses a keen eye for strategic business opportunities. Requirements

• Extensive COO experience in a tech company, combined with a financial background / experience;
• Broad experience with Operations; supply chain management, logistics, contractmanagement, procurement, project management and quality management;
• Significant experience in expanding a scale-up to an established international player;
• Experience with fundraising, managing stakeholders (partners and investors) and representing the organization towards future investors is valued;
• Experience in integrating acquisitions into people-based businesses Extensive experience delivering organisational change within a high-growth and people-based business;
• Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity;
• Be able to diagnose problems quickly;
• Teamplayer;
• Strong analytical skills and strategic skills;
• Transparant and flexible;
• Hands- on, no-nonsense;
• Academic work and thinking level;
• Dutch and English language skills, both spoken and written;
• Experience in working with Private Equity is a plus.
