Head of Payment

The organization

Our client is one of Europe's most popular online shops for fashion. They have an established in-house payment platform and team and are currently looking to hire the Head of Payment who can support them in their fast growth. 

The position

• Strategic management of our client's payment teams (100 team members) consisting of fraud, accounts receivable and business development.
• In order to give all relevant stakeholders a unique and relevant payment experience you select and be responsible for the implementation of new payment methods. 
• You develop the in-house payment platform further and are the main point of contact for all relevant issues relating to payment within the organization.
• As payment expert you act as the primary contact for external inquiries
• Guide, motivate and coach your team

Candidate profile

• Degree in IT, business, finance or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in the domain of online payment and finance. 
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the European Payment markets, in particular alternative payment methods.
• Familiar with and knowledge of Mobile Payments, digital wallets and similar modern payment methods. 
• Deep knowledge of business systems and banking rules and regulations.
• Being able to communicate easily with technical and non-technical departments. 
• Experienced manager with extensive analytical skills and project management experience.
• Fluent in German and English
