The organisation

Inalfa Roof Systems is one of the world's biggest providers of vehicle roof systems. Inalfa designs, develops and manufactures sunroofs and open roof systems for the major OEM's in the automotive industry.

The position

The challenge of this new position is to develop and define a global Treasury & Banking strategy and ensure implementation and execution. You will set up and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over all treasury activities. You’re responsible for (global) corporate liquidity and cash management, short-/long-term financial investments and financial risk management related to the company's financial activities.

In this position you report directly to the Group CFO based at our HQ in Venray (the Netherlands).

Tasks & responsibilities

• Responsible for daily cash management on Group level
• Enhancing and developing a corporate cash management system
• Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly/ cash position
• Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds
• Ensures that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and investment requirements
• Usage of FX and interest rate hedging as required
• Maintains Group banking relationships
• Arrange for equity and debt financing
• Follow-up of established loan facilities and bank’s required reporting (covenants)
• Management reporting of relevant Treasury & Banking related KPI’s
• Advises management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning
• Oversees the extension of credit to customers
• Consistently enhances the Treasury contributions resulting in reduced costs and/or increased revenues or profits
• Advises on the organization’s fundraising strategy
• Ensures fundraising and sales complies with relevant legislation and is bound by effective financial systems and controls

Candidate profile

• Relevant MsC degree in Finance or Business Administrations
• More than 8 years of experience and proven credibility in senior finance / treasury positions in international high tech/industrial, matrix organization(s)
• International working experience is required, preferably both in NA as well as Asia
• Advanced knowledge of international business planning and practices
• Extensive experience with international banks and cash management
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• Takes a high level of independent responsibility and decision making on a day to day basis with a high degree of personal accountability
• Demonstrates keen sense of priorities, inspire others with forward looking orientation and develops partnerships and relationships across the extended enterprise
• Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for developing value adding support and analysis
• The ability to think strategically, be well versed in systems, and translate a vision into influencing critical process improvements and initiates new activities
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations as well as connecting people and drive teams into world class execution
• Expertise in SOX is required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Willingness to travel frequently
