Our client is a PE owned international ICT company headquartered in the Amsterdam and London region. In a personal meeting more information will be given.

The position

Key responsibilities:

• Reporting to Group CFO, managing (in)direct appr. 20 FTE (NL and UK).
• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial management and reporting process including the statutory reporting.
• Company has debt securities traded on a public stock exchange, adding specific quarterly reporting requirements.
• Lead and manage the (consolidated) budget process.
• Lead and manage the (Group/ Tax/ Corporate) Accounting and Financial Control.
• Responsible for developing the AO/IC framework.
• Working with local business managers and financial controllers to ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards, including providing training to the finance organisation.
• Responsible for standardising and harmonising the financial accounting and reporting processes taking initiatives such as fast close, set up of a shared service center, digitalization, teambuilding, leading transformation processes, etc.
• Highly customized AX Microsoft accounting system needs to be replaced immediately by a newer version, allowing for significant streamlining of the accounting function and introducing significant efficiencies.
• Building relationship with relevant internal and external stakeholders of the acounting and control organisation.

Candidate profile

• Master in Business Administration/ Economics combined with a CPA/ RA qualification
• You have 15+ years relevant working experience (preferably within ICT)
• You are well known with the IFRS standards and have practical hands on experience in relation to the business
• Proven experience in working with IT projects related to finance
• Detailed knowledge in all fields of financial accounting combined with strong people and communication skills
• Fluent in English both oral and written. Dutch is not a necessity
• Proven leadership skills in leading a department
• Strong drive with a hands-on, structured, accurate and result oriented working style. Eager to learn and develop yourself and other people.
• A strategic mindset while having the ability to translate strategy into actionable objectives (short, medium and long-term)
